The Grand County Library District and its community cultural and educational partners are spotlighting Shelley Read’s blockbuster debut novel Go As a River during March and April to encourage literacy and promote a sense of community.
Encourage your friends and neighbors to join in this community read. And, then, head out to one of our partnering organizations to enjoy the tethered connections to Grand County. Try a wood carving and printing class with Rocky Mountain Folk School, visit Headwaters River Journey for World Water Day, or join the Grand County Historical Association to hear about Grand County’s own water and land stories when representatives from Trout Unlimited and Colorado Parks & Wildlife discuss the Windy Gap project as well as land under the waters of Grand County.
Thanks to Grand County Library Foundation, Mountain Shire Books, and Kremmling, Granby, and Grand Lake Rotary clubs for sponsoring these events. Check the library calendar at www.gcld.org for dates and whether registration is needed.
