Colorado Gives

Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, Colorado Gives Day is an annual statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving.

The event is powered by ColoradoGives.org, a year-round, online giving website.

Qualified Charitable Distribution

You can make a qualified charitable distribution up to $100,000 per year, from your IRA directly to Grand County Library Foundation if you are at least 70 ½ years old. Your gift may:

  • fulfill your required minimum distribution
  • be excluded from your gross income for federal tax purposes

Donate Stocks

Donate stock to GCLF. A benefit to the donor and the Foundation, It is simple and easy.

  • provides a larger financial gift to GCLF
  • potentially increases your tax deduction and eliminate the capital gains tax you would incur if you sold the assets yourself and donated the proceeds
